Where to buy a copy of the QCT in Quebec City

We are pleased to announce that the Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph may now be purchased in the historic library of the Morrin Centre, located at 44 Chaussée des Écossais in Old Quebec. Individual copies are $1.30 + taxes = $1.50.

November is a busy time for the organizing committee of the Community Christmas Hamper Campaign, which this year runs from Sunday, November 20, to Sunday, December 11. Activities and fundraising events organized in support of the 21st annual Community Hamper Campaign are in full swing.

CQSB holds 20th Cross Country Run for students, family and friends

On October 1, a gorgeous autumn day, the Central Quebec School Board held the 20th edition of the Cross Country Run. The event attracted over 500 students, friends and family members, who participated in six races at the Base de Plein Air de Sainte-Foy.

Shannon Community Centre resounds with Echoes of Erin

On September 28, the Shannon Community Centre gave an enthusiastic welcome to a troupe of young musicians and dancers from Ireland, all members of the Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. The Association of Musicians of Ireland is dedicated to preserving Irish traditional music and culture and has spawned several touring groups.

Place d’Youville was the place to be for movie aficionados on September 14. Crowds gathered at the foot of the stairs in front of the Palais Montcalm, where a band welcomed cinephiles to the opening film of the sixth Quebec City Film Festival –  Pays (Boundaries in the English version).
