November 21, 1907 –April 21, 1988

We thought of you with love today, 

but that is nothing new.

We thought about you yesterday, 

and days before that too.

We think of you in painful

silence; we often speak 

your name to somehow ease the pain.

Now all we have are memories 

and your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake 

with which we will never part.

God has you in his kingdom, we have you in our hearts.

It has been thirty-six years but it 

seems like only yesterday – you are our mother.
