Spring is in bloom and so too are the two completed book projects that the Voice of English-speaking Québec (VEQ) co-ordinated over the past year.

The Tell me a Story/Raconte-moi une histoire project promoted the importance of linguistic duality within the English- and French-speaking communities in the greater Quebec City region.

With just over a week before the Quebec Art Company (QAC)’s latest production hits the stage, the cast and crew of the rock-opera Jesus Christ Superstar were treated to something very special last Thursday.

Every year for the past eight years, the QCT has been a part of the Défilé de la Saint-Patrick, delivering newspapers to the thousands of people who line the parade route through the heart of Quebec City. 

 We are proud to be a part of this long-standing Irish tradition.

With opening night just eight weeks away, tickets for the Quebec Art Company (QAC) production of the smash rock opera hit Jesus Christ Superstar can now be reserved. There will be six showings, April 12, 13, 14 and 19, 20, 21, at 8 p.m. in historic Chalmers-Wesley United Church in the Old City.

The staff of the Morrin Centre treasure their volunteers. Every year they show their appreciation by treating them to a special evening with dinner, fun and games in College Hall.

    Bright sun and cold weather brought crowds out to Place d’Youville on Feb. 3 for the 61st annual Calgary Stampede Flapjack Breakfast. More than 4,000 sausages were roasted and as many flapjacks were flipped, to the delight of everyone.
