Champlain St. Lawrence Honors Student-Athletes

The Champlain St. Lawrence College Athletics Department has announced its list of 71 athletes who were able to maintain an 80 percent average or better in school while lettering for the Lions in the Winter 2010 semester. The name of each athlete is followed by the sport he or she plays and the school they attended before arriving at Champlain St. Lawrence.

St. Lawrence Hockey: Perfect record in September

In a one-sided offensive surge, the St. Lawrence Lions men's hockey team recorded an 8-3 victory over College Lionel-Groulx. After opening the season with two consecutive wins on home ice, the Lions lead the standings of the Quebec Provincial Collegiate Hockey League.

On Friday, December 5th, Champlain-St.Lawrence's band, 'What The Heck,' will present a unique concert featuring the beloved music of The Beatles.

Mostly renowned for the quality of its basketball and hockey teams, Cegep St.Lawrence also offers a strong program in a variety of sports, as proven by two of its female students' remarkable performance at the latest national college-level X-Country championships. The competitions, which took place on Saturday, November 8th, were hosted by St.Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario.

Lions Come Back From Golf Nationals with Individual Gold and Team Silver

Anne-Catherine Tanguay sank a birdie put on the 18th hole of the last round to win gold in the individual championship, while helping her team win the silver in the team standings.
