Understanding Quebec

In his well thought out online submission entitled “Orange is in, blue is out” that was published in the 18 May edition of the QC-T, Job Patstone wrote: “I never quite understood why Quebec always needed more attention or more special needs than any other province anyway.

Alec. Thx for your enlightening response. I suppose you're right for the most part, especially concerning the history of it all. What I mostly object to is the anti-canadian attitude and the independance movement that seems to overpower everything else. I feel much more at home when I am in Ontario or BC, provinces which have not as of yet adopted dicriminatory language laws. In fact they promote bilingulalism which they find futile at times.  See you soon, Job
