I don't want to!

Girl hit by a car

I don't want to.

No, I don't want to feel pain.

I don't want others to feel pain.

I don't want to ever again witness an accident like the one in Trois-Rivières. I don't want to see that car again, with the idiot at the wheel who stopped in the left lane in front of me, beckoning a girl on the sidewalk to get into his car. She was probably hitch-hiking.

Agnès Maltais is clearly delighted, fascinated even, with Julian Oliver's Levelhead installation. The large screen in the centre of the Salle Méduse on St. Vallier Est. makes the technology-cum-art difficult to miss at the Mois Multi's vernissage.

My Valentine

My Valentine. Jewels, flowers, chocolates and kisses are the fare for St. Valentine's and I hope you have will have been endowed with a satisfying portion of them all. My Valentine, dedicated to my readers, consists of the same ingredients but in hypothetical form.

Ingres at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Quebec

Part I

For any one who is even slightly interested in French 19 century neo-classic art or in the work of Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres in particular, this exhibition is a chance of a life time.
