Internationally acclaimed Quebec tenor Marc Hervieux (centre), along with tenor, actor and concert producer Sam Champagne (left) and 2025 Star Académie winner Mia Tinayre (right), packed the Grand Théâtre with lovers of songs by the late, great Frank Sinatra (1915-1998) on the afternoon of Feb. 8. They were accompanied by the Orchestre Filmharmonique, directed by Francis Choinière, who can be seen standing in front of the musicians, behind Champagne. From “That’s Life” to “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” to “The Way You Look Tonight” and “My Way,” composed by Paul Anka especially for Sinatra in 1969, and many more songs, Hervieux and his guests had the audience wanting more at the end of the sold-out performance. After several encores, Hervieux explained that they had to leave to make room for ticket holders who were about to arrive for the evening performance! If you missed it, they will give a repeat performance in Quebec City on May 3. (SN) (Photo by Shirley Nadeau)
