OBITUARY: Michael McLAUGHLIN (1941-2023)

Michael McLaughlin of Shannon, Quebec, slipped away peacefully on the evening of March 7, 2023, at Saint Brigid’s Home in Quebec City.

Michael (also known as Mike or Sonny) was the son of Mary Tope and Michael McLaughlin. Born in Quebec City in 1941, Mike was raised in Shannon, Quebec, and had worked at the munitions factory at CFB Valcartier.

Mike was a steadfast active member of the former A.A. Columbus Group and helped many new members.

Mike struggled valiantly with Parkinson’s disease in his later years.

Mike will be dearly missed.
