EYE ON SPORTS: Carabins win all-Quebec U Sports women’s hockey title game…
The Carabins from Université de Montréal captured the U Sports women’s hockey national title by defeating the Concordia University Stingers, 5-2, in Waterloo, Ont., on March 22. The Carabins succeed the Bishop’s Gaiters who captured the honours last season. Next fall, the Université Laval Rouge et Or will ice a women’s hockey team for the first time, bringing the number of RSEQ university women’s hockey teams to five. (LL) (Photo courtesy of U Sports)
