The Canadian ice hockey team won the country’s last silver medal at the Paralympic Winter Games in Milan Cortina. Canada lost 6-2 to the United States in the gold-medal game, in front of a record crowd of 11,500 fans. It was Canada’s 15th and final medal in Italy. The Canadians won three gold, four silver and eight bronze medals, finishing sixth at the 2026 Winter Paralympics. China led the medal standings with 44 medals, including a Games-leading 15 golds.
