In her quarantine tank, Marmelade is enthusiastically flapping her nose at the surface. Sharks and rays have extremely specific nutrient needs and need to be fed independently; they are trained to claim their food when they spot a target that is picked individually for each of them. Eventually, some of them just learn to come whenever a human gets near. The Ville de Québec is moving forward with plans to include businesses, industrial facilities and institutions in its purple bag table waste composting program.
