Sandrine Khelifi and her Université Laval Rouge et Or teammates finished the first perfect season (18-0) in the Réseau du Sport Étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) by crushing the Bishop’s University Gaiters 56-33, on March 2 at the PEPS. It’s the fourth RSEQ title in the last five years for the Rouge et Or and the 19th championship banner in the school’s history. The team will travel to Edmonton for the U Sports women’s Final 8 from March 7-10. Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell addresses his team after an impressive 31-23 victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the National Football League playoffs. The Lions will meet the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football Conference (NFC) championship game on Jan. 28 for a berth in Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas. Detroit last played in the NFC championship game in 1991, losing to Washington. The Lions are one of four NFL teams to never have played in the Super Bowl. The snowstorm that hit Quebec City on Jan. 13, first went through the state of New York, notably Buffalo. The snowstorm forced the National Football League to postpone the wild-card playoff game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Bills, which was scheduled for Jan.14, to the next day.
