The Winter Carnival Ice Canoe Race always attracts a crowd along the St. Lawrence River in both Quebec City and Lévis. This year, 260 athletes in 52 canoes competed in four categories: 16 canoes in Elite Mixed (green), 11 canoes in Elite Open (red), seven in Elite Women (yellow) and 18 in Sport (blue).
