This beautiful bronze statue of Père Jacques Marquette is on the front of the Quebec Parliament Building. One of him also stands in the U.S. Congress.

It may surprise many Quebecers to learn that four of their own are among a select group of 100 men and women who oversee the work of the United States Congress in Washington, D.C., on a daily basis.
