Northern cardinals are a breathtaking sight, but capturing them on camera is no easy feat. Drawn by their melodic song, I set out in search of these stunning birds. Hidden among dense branches, they remain elusive, but I was fortunate to catch a fleeting glimpse. I snapped this photo just moments before the cardinal took flight. (Photo by Lise Lafond)
