OBITUARY
Patricia (Patsy) McLAUGHLIN
December 19, 1950-November 13, 2025
It is with great love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia (Patsy) McLaughlin. Born and raised in Quebec City, Patricia later settled in Burlington, Ont., where she spent the last 38 years of her life surrounded by family and friends.
Patricia is lovingly remembered by her daughter Shannon (Barry), her sister Colleen (Peter), niece Andrea (Jeff), nephew Kevin (Natalie) and her cherished grandchildren, Shae and Willem, who brought her endless joy.
Patricia passed peacefully in her daughter’s arms – a fitting final chapter for a mother and daughter who had walked through so much of life side by side.
The local Celtic band Irish Tree – Mike Labonté, Olivier Leclerc and Frédéric Drouin – who performed during the 2024 VEQ Holiday Happy Hour, will be back at the Morrin Centre again on Dec. 3. The event is free of charge but please bring a donation of non-perishable food and/or cash for the “turkey tips” jar at the bar.
