After dazzling audiences with a string of top- quality musicals, from Cabaret to Fiddler on the Roof to Hair, the Quebec Art Company, Quebec City’s longest-running English- language theatre group, is staging Grease, one of the most playful, provocative and popular Broadway shows ever.

The wise-cracking, jive-dancing story of working-class youth navigating the challenges of growing up and making choices, all the while befuddled by romance, has won the hearts of theatre- goers since it debuted in 1971. And, oh yeah, there are those amazing songs.

Performances are slated for April 2026 with rehearsals to begin in late fall 2025.

Initial auditions for the principal male and female roles will be held Sunday, Sept. 7. For those who are interested and unable to attend this audition session, there will be other opportunities. No previous acting or sing- ing experience is required.
