Helen McKenna Golden passed away in Denver, Colorado, on May 12, 2025, at the age of 90 years and seven months. She was the wife of John-Gilbert Golden and the daughter of the late Eugene McKenna and the late Marie Lavoie. She was a native of Quebec City.

She leaves to mourn her husband as well as Jeny-Marie, Katy and Peter, whom she considered her own children; her brother Patrick (Lise Dussault); her sister-in- law Linda Golden (late Normand Drouin) and nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. She was also the sister-in-law of the late Patsy Golden (late Guy Lessard).

A funeral mass in the presence of the ashes will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 1145 avenue de Salaberry, Quebec City. The family will receive condolences from 9:30 a.m.

Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery on Chemin St-Louis, Quebec City.
