Jannik Sinner of Italy captured his first Wimbledon title on July 13, beating Carlos Alcaraz of Spain in four sets (4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4). Sinner, the top seed at Wimbledon, captured his fourth major title a month after losing a gruelling five-set French Open final to Alcaraz. On the women’s side, Iga Swiatek of Poland crushed American Amanda Anisimova (6-0, 6-0) in under an hour to win her first Wimbledon crown. It was the first time since 1911 that a Wimbledon final ended in a “double bagel.” (Screenshot)
