OBITUARY
Elizabeth Leach TWEDDELL
1920-2025
Elizabeth Leach Tweddell passed away in Quebec City on Dec. 30, 2025, at the age of 105. She was the beloved wife of the late Eddy Tweddell.
Born in Bruce Mines, Ont., on September 13, 1920, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Marretta Grose and the late Leonard Edward Leach.
Elizabeth leaves behind her children: Vaughn (late Françoise Gagnon) and Joanne (Jean Lemelin); her grandchildren: Warren Tweddell (Michelle Noël), Derek Tweddell (Manon Pageau), Sophia Tweddell (Yvan Laflamme), Melanie Lemelin (Nicolas Auger), Andrea Lemelin (Jonathan Coupland) and Charles Lemelin (Stéphanie Taschereau); her great-grandchildren: Élyakim Tweddell (Paul Hudson), Sean-Warren Tweddell, Ally Noël-Dumas (Gabriel Larivière), Patrick Tweddell (Lauren Smith), Christina Tweddell (Étienne Fournier), David Tweddell (Rosemarie Veilleux), Alexia Laflamme (Philippe Rousseau), Benjamin Laflamme, Olivia Auger, Felix Auger, Gabriel Auger, Antoine Coupland, Madison Coupland, Benjamin Coupland, Edouard Lemelin, Albert Lemelin and Eléonore Lemelin; and her great-great-grandchildren: Énora, Loann, Adely and Nathan, as well as other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Patrick James Mallen and Maxwell Mallen (late Shirley Crowsha), as well as her brothers and sisters-in- law from the Tweddell family and their spouses.
The family extends their sincere thanks to the staff of the Centre d’hébergement Saint-Antoine for their dedication and good care.
Her life was celebrated with a private family gathering of love and remembrance.
