CEGEP Champlain – St. Lawrence launches new bilingual website

CEGEP Champlain – St. Lawrence is proud to announce the launch of their newly redesigned website, a project that has been underway for the past 20 months, just in time for the 2025-26 school year. The primary aims of the project have been to streamline the college’s communications, support its recruitment efforts, align the site with its brand and meet government requirements for language, security and accessibility.

Consultations with various college stakeholders, including staff, faculty, students and parents, began in winter 2023-24. Content development involved input from a variety of employees to update the messaging from the existing website to improve accuracy, clarity and tone. Web agency Treize took the lead on the design and build, in a months-long process that kicked off this spring.

The updated website offers improved ergonomics with better navigational tools and a more intuitive menu, a search function, and integrated accessibility features, and is fully optimized for mobile devices to ensure a seamless experience for all users. 

Prospective students are now provided with a strong visual representation of campus life, academic programs and college events. The refresh has allowed us to place a greater focus on student accomplishments, showcasing the best the college has to offer.

A major positive change for future students and their families is that all content is now available in both French and English, meeting government requirements in addition to the needs of part of our student population.

The college would like to thank those who have taken part in focus groups or have contributed input on content development over the last year.
