L’Initiale restaurant, at the corner of rue St. Pierre and côte de la Montagne in Quebec City’s lower town, was recently awarded a 5th diamond for the excellence of its cuisine. This is the highest level of the Diamond Ratings System for restaurants and lodgings administered by AAA/CAA.

Large crouds attended the 10th Annual Santa Claus Parade


Crowds filled the sidewalks along rue St. Joseph on Sunday for the 10th annual Parade des jouets as Santa Claus came to town. Several new floats and groups added to the excitement of the festivities, all put together with the help of more than 350 volunteers. Once again this year, children were invited to tailgate with Santa at the beginning of the parade route before he took to the streets.

Don’t wait for snow to enjoy winter activities

The air was frisky on our way to the Sainte-Foy arena where my wife Denyse was going to skate for her first time this season. She was radiant with the thought of having the occasion to practice her favorite sport.

Families can enjoy entertainment in English, bilingual games and crafts, and a snack.
