A Cultural Interlude at the Domaine Cataraqui

On a rainy Sunday afternoon, some 65 people gathered at the historic Domaine Cataraqui in Sillery for the fifth annual Cultural Interlude, a fundraiser for the Jeffery Hale Foundation and the Saint Brigid’s Home Foundation. 

Observatoire de la Capitale broadens its Horizons

On May 30, the Observatoire de la Capitale opened its new Horizons exhibit on the 31st floor of the Marie-Guyart building, known to many simply as “Complexe G.” The creator, Olivier Dufour, guided the group of invited journalists through the exhibit showcasing a 360-degree view of Greater Quebec City in all its glory from a height of 221 metres.

Les Jours de Cirque (Circus Days) are an event that takes place every spring at the vocational circus school on 2ième Avenue in Quebec City. At this 12th edition, many visitors at the École de Cirque de Quebec (ÉCQ) saw the annual year-end shows put on by circus stars of the future.

Guy Gavriel Kay entertained a full house at the Morrin Centre last week during the launch of his new book, Children of Earth and Sky. In his usual fashion, he brought the crowd to laughter and inspired adulation of his craft.
