It was my son Clifford who got me to watch him compete in a model airplane flying event. He had travelled from Sept Iles with his friend and fellow pilot Richard Vigneault.

QHS Alumni gather in Toronto to remember the good times


A gathering of the Quebec High School Alumni and Friends took place June 17 at the York Station Bar of the Royal York Hotel. As always, we were treated like royalty by our hostess and a special surprise was the arrival of Don Harriet from Quebec City, via the West Coast. The Alumni gathered to remember good times and special events that took place....pictures come out of way back when.

Lieutenant-Colonel Nancy Ouellet killed

Lieutenant-Colonel Nancy Ouellet was killed at 41 years of age following a motorcycle accident in Nevada.
LCol Ouellet served for 23 years with the Canadian Forces and garnered an impressive number of accomplishments for herself, notably as Commanding Officer of the Canadian Forces Support Unit (C) Colorado Springs, in Colorado (between 2007 and 2010).

Vatican selects Québec’s Cardinal Ouellet

Cardinal is headed to Rome to head the Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops and President of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America

The Vatican Press Office has confirmed the appointment of Cardinal Marc Ouellet as Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops and President of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America. The Cardinal expressed gratitude and humility in accepting the appointment by Pope Benedict XVI:
