Aren’t they beautiful, all those strawberries lined up at the market? Our eyes widen when we see the first fruits of the season, so juicy you have to eat them holding a bowl under your chin to catch the juice as you bite into a plump strawberry.

Gary Hicks passed away peacefully on January 17, 2018, in his 83rd year at the Masonic Home in Union City, California.

Unusual works of art decorate passages in Quebec City

EXMURO’s Les Passages Insolites (unusual passages) have returned to Lower Town and have expanded to six locations in the suburbs of Quebec City, where they can be viewed until Oct. 14. 

NBC cans plan for Côte Gilmour stairs due to high cost

A plan to build a stairway on Côte Gilmour has been shelved indefinitely. The National Battlefields Commission (NBC) had announced the project at about this time last year, anticipating completion last fall.

Berthe Morisot, Woman Impressionist featured at the MNBAQ

The works of French Impressionist Berthe Morisot (1841-1895) are now on display at the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec (MNBAQ). The exhibition continues until Sept. 23.
