Business is booming at Beauport Beach

This summer’s record-breaking temperatures are breaking attendance records at Quebec City’s only beach on the St. Lawrence River, at la Baie de Beauport. The beach area has been open as a popular picnic and waterside playground since 2008, but swimming has only been allowed since 2016.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Rousseau in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue on June 10. She was the beloved daughter of Vilma Binet and the late Jean Rousseau.

Sports Briefs: Rugby, hockey and basketball

The Rugby Québec girls’ Under 16 (U16) and Under 18 (U18) 15s teams will play a pair of games on July 29 at the Stade Telus at Université Laval against the Académie de Rugby du Rouge et Or.
