Village Nordik set to open at Louise Basin

While some of us might find the winter season less than enjoyable, the Village Nordik gives residents and visitors a great reason to get outside! From January 19 to March 12, large, inflated igloos will line Louise Basin, where people will feel as if they're visiting a small northern village in the middle of Quebec City!

Salon Bouge wants people to move

It was Salon Bouge weekend at ExpoCité, a show dedicated to encouraging people to get more physical exercise. From January 13 to 15, visitors discovered a diverse array of things to do in Quebec and met dozens of exhibitors who encouraged them to get up off the couch and move.

FIS Cross-Country World Cup Final back in Quebec City

It was recently announced that the International Ski Federation (FIS) Cross-Country World Cup Final will be back in Quebec City on the Plains of Abraham. The Quebec Winter Events Corporation, Cross-Country Canada and Gestev confirmed the return of the cross-country skiing elite to Quebec City from March 17 to 19, 2017.
