Get Out of the Red auction a real fundraiser!

Once again this year, the Get Out of the Red tourtière lunch and auction was held at the Jeffery Hale Pavilion. On January 20, the auction helped get the Community Christmas Hamper Campaign (CCHC) into the black by raising $865 at this fun fundraising event!  

The 63rd Quebec City Winter Carnival is on!


During opening weekend, Winter Carnival sites were buzzing with people of all ages. They were barrelling down the ice slide on the ramparts behind Bonhomme's Ice Palace, playing human-sized Foosball and enjoying maple taffy. 

Sépaq to hold Winter Open House Day

On Saturday, February 18, the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Sépaq) will open 13 of Quebec's parks to the general public, absolutely free of charge, offering outdoor activities guaranteed to warm up even those with the worst case of winter shivers.

Claire passed away peacefully at Saint Brigid's Home, in Quebec City, on January 25, 2017, in her 91st year. Formerly from Portneuf, she was a resident of Sainte-Foy since 1963.
