Spring is officially here, and what do we do in spring? Spring cleaning. Why not start this task by cleaning the windows? Washing away all the residue that has accumulated on the glass surfaces over the winter months will let in those warm rays of sunshine.

Fabien Gabel unveils the OSQ’s 2019-2020 season

The Orchestre symphonique de Québec (OSQ) recently unveiled what promises to be an extraordinary coming season. The musical year 2019-2020 will be highlighted by four remarkable concerts, veritable master strokes by musical director Fabien Gabel.

FEQ announces a new, bigger Loto-Québec stage

The Festival d’Été de Québec (FEQ) recently announced that their second largest stage will welcome festival-goers on an even bigger site this summer. The Loto-Québec stage will take up residence in Place George-V, across the Grande Allée from its former location in Parc de la Francophonie. This new location will be equipped to host a larger audience in even better conditions.

St. John’s Masonic Lodge invites you to brunch

St. John’s Lodge, Quebec City’s English-language Masonic Lodge, is having a brunch on Saturday, April 13 at 10 a.m. at the lodge building, located at 51 Rue des Jardins, in the Old City. Free parking is available at the nearby Cathedral of the Holy Trinity.

Everyone is welcome, men and women alike.

Central Québec School Board continues to shine

The Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur (MEES) recently published its report containing the latest statistics regarding graduation and qualification rates per school board in the province of Quebec. It is with great pride that we inform you that the Central Québec School Board continues to shine: in all sectors, the CQSB ranked second among the 72 Quebec school boards.

St. Lawrence Lady Lions set for RSEQ provincial championship

The CEGEP Champlain–St. Lawrence Lady Lions basketball team is in Montreal from April 5 to 7 to take part in the Réseau du Sport Étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) championship.

Capitales getting ready for the 2019 Can-Am League season

The Québec Capitales of the Can-Am League are getting ready to make fans forget how the 2018 season ended. Let me remind you: the Capitales lost the 2018 league championship to the Sussex County Miners, who also won the regular season title.

Tickets for QAC’s Noises Off now on sale

Tickets are now on sale online for the Quebec Art Company’s hilarious farcical romp, Noises Off. It takes to the stage on Thursday, May 16, for four performances, including the QAC’s traditional Sunday matinee, at 2 p.m. Evening performances start earlier than in the past, at 7:30 p.m.
