Lines of people waited to be handed a delicious flapjack wrapped around a sausage at Quai 21 before the start of the ice canoe races in Louise Basin.

Crowds of people enjoyed the Western Pre-Race Event on Quai 21 at the Quebec Port. Over 3,000 flapjacks and sausages prepared by the City of Calgary and the Calgary Stampede were cooked and served up to a hungry crowd, as they listened to country music performed by the High Steppin’ Daddy band.
