Doherty, Joseph William (Bill)

Doherty, Joseph William (Bill) age 86 died peacefully at his daughter Sharon & Bob Catlin’s home in Victoria B.C. May 17, 2010, son of the late William John Doherty and late Allyce Wilson. Bill was a veteran (WWII) of the RCAF North Atlantic Squadron. After the war Bill held several positions in the Heavy Equipment Business (truck division) where he was well respected.

Marianna O’Gallagher dies at 81

Marianna O'Gallagher was in bed at Laval Hospital, spending what would be her last days, but she was still busy, still planning and still maintaining her sense of humor.

"She told me a string of jokes that I went back and told my children," said former Chronicle-Telegraph Publisher Karen MacDonald.

Passed away on Wednesday May 19, 2010 at Grand River Hospital K-W Health Centre. Bill resided in New Hamburg and was born 63 years ago in Ancienne-Lorette, Quebec. He was the son of the late Wilson & Janet (Doucet) McBain.
