A brand new year full of promise at St. Pat’s High School

What is it about a new year? It’s the same school year, and spring is not yet in the air, but after a restful and well deserved holiday, the staff and students are back at St. Patrick’s High School and there is a sense of renewed energy that comes with a fresh start.

When Shirley Nadeau read that a sing-along version of the Sound of Music was being screened at the Théàtre Petit Champlain last December, she rallied the troops and rented several nun costumes!

Getting back in the swing of things after Christmas vacation for Canadian Red Cross worker Nathalia Guerrero must have been a bit of a shock.

She arrived home to Ste-Marie-de-Beauce from Mali at the end of December in time to welcome home her partner, Jean-Pierre Taschereau, back from helping earthquake victims in Peru.
