Three players from the Quebec area get the call at the NHL draft

Quebec City’s Jakob Pelletier was selected 26th overall by the Calgary Flames in the recent NHL draft. Pelletier is currently a member of the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

When you’re a kid playing hockey, no matter where you are, you dream of playing in the National Hockey League. You dream of playing for the famous Montreal Canadiens, or with Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins. You close your eyes at night, imagining that you score the winning goal in the seventh game of the final and that you get your hands on the Stanley Cup, the Holy Grail of hockey.
