Native American culture, traditions and ancestry is an important part of Canada’s current identity and history. Natives helped the colonists in many ways. Secondary and elementary students reproduce important objects to the Natives and which could have been a part of their daily lives.

On June 28, the National Battlefields Commission inaugurated the annual Student Masterworks exhibit at the Plains of Abraham Museum. For the eighth year, elementary and high school students came to the Museum to present reproductions of paintings and art objects dating back to the 16th century.
