The story behind Rue Roosevelt

Rue Roosevelt is a short street in a residential area of Quebec City between Rue Saint-Vallier and the shore of the Saint Charles River. It crosses Rue de la Victoire and runs parallel to Rue Churchill and Rue Général-McNaughton. These streets honour the three men for their achievements and the victory they brought about through their efforts.

Rue Roosevelt is named in honour of none other than Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882-1945), president of the United States from 1933 to 1945. He won a record four presidential elections.
