Avenue George-VI runs the length of National Battlefields Park (the Plains of Abraham) from the entrance near the Cross of Sacrifice on Grande Allée to the top of Côte Gilmour.

Avenue George-VI, a roadway in National Battlefields Park, a.k.a. the Plains of Abraham, was named after George VI (1895-1952), King of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Commonwealth from 1936 to 1952. He was the last Emperor of India and the first Head of the Commonwealth.
