Prospero, played by Jean Guy, 70, has just witnessed his daughter Miranda, played by Chantal Dupuis, falling in love with Ferdinand, played by Francis Roberge.

Until the end of July, Quebec City locals and tourists will be gathering at Wendake’s outdoor amphitheatre to delight in Robert Lepage’s adaptation of one of William Shakespeare’s most popular plays. The Tempest’s first recorded production was on November 1, 1611, for King James I.
