The Quebec City Kebs faced the Buffalo Stampede for the second time at PEPS Stadium in Quebec City on February 6th, 2010.  The Kebs started off the 2010 Premier Basketball League season victorious against the Stampede. Contrary to the last match the final score was 119 – 103 in favour of Buffalo.

“This was our worst game of the year” declares Alejandro Hasbani, the Quebec City Kebs Head Coach. Tonight’s game is the 7th loss in a row for the Kebs. The loss of tonight’s game is attributed to lack of concentration and strength.

The Kebs appeared to be cold from the beginning of the match, allowing the Stampede to gain an 8 point lead in the first 2 minutes. The Buffalo Stampede must have still held a bitter taste from losing the opening match to the Kebs as they charged the court in the first period and never slowed down. Using aggressive plays and driving 2 point shots to gain momentum. The Kebs picked up the pace in the second period leading the score board 56-52. In the first half Jeremy Bell achieved 20 points and Samuel Audet-Sow contributed 11 points to the Kebs lead.

In the 3rd quarter the Stampede shot 37 to the Kebs 23, achieving 80% accuracy in their 3 point shots. The stomping continued into the 4th and the Kebs 3point shot accuracy was at an all time low of 10%.It’s clear the Quebec City Kebs were caught off guard by the pressure and precision game delivered by the Stampede from the start of the match.

Performance players from the Buffalo Stampede were: Kevin Ross with 24 points and 12 rebounds and Corey Herring with 20 points and 7 rebounds.
