Greenhawks secure victory against Kebs in winning 125 to124


January 24, 2010 the Quebec City Kebs faced the Maryland Greenhawks for the first time in the 2010 Premier Basketball League Season (PBL). The game was played at Maryland on Saturday January 23, 2010 starting at 7pm. The Greenhawks played an aggressive first half leaving the Kebs trailing 65-46 by the end the second period.

Third period was intense as the Kebs exploded on to the court reducing the Greenhawks lead to 4 points. The pressure was high in the final period as both teams fought to control the court the final score being 125-124 in favour of the Greenhawks. Jonas Pierre dislocated his shoulder in the game when driving the rim will not be returning to play with the Kebs for the rest of the season.

Quebec City Kebs Upcoming games

The final away game in January scheduled for January 29, 2010 against PBL newcomers the Puerto Rico Capitanes. The Kebs next home game will be on February 6, 2010 against the Buffalo Stampede starting at 7:30pm at Laval University’s PEPS Stadium.
