There is an explosive new twist in the 2010 PBL schedule. No longer will teams be constrained within their divisions for a shot at the championship. Each team will play each other twice, once with a home court advantage and the other visiting. The 2010 season is the fourth professional season for the Quebec City Kebs of the PBL the Quebec City Kebs, as such they will be playing additional games against their ‘natural rivals’ the Buffalo Stampede, Halifax Rainmen and Rochester Millrats.

The 2010 PBL season will opening the weekend of January 2nd and 3rd 2010, with back-to-back games in Quebec City. The Quebec City Kebs 1st official game will be against the Buffalo Stampede. Tip-off is at 19:30 on January 2nd, 2010 at the Peps stadium, Laval University Quebec. On January 3rd the Quebec City Kebs will welcome the Rochester Razorsharks.

Preseason tournament

The PBL 2010 season begins with a three-day preseason Champlain Cup tournament held in Barre, Vermont at the Barre Municipal Auditorium from December 27th to the 29th, 2009. The Quebec City Kebs kick off the tournament at 2:05pm against arch rivals the Vermont Frost Heaves, who were also the 2009 champions of the Champlain Cup. The Quebec City Kebs will then face their ‘natural rivals’ the Manchester Millrats at 7:05pm on December 28th. The 2010 PBL Champlain Cup tournament is sure to be an explosive event setting the pace for the 2010 PBL season. Winning team of the tournament will be announced after the December 29th game where Manchester faces Vermont for the first time this season.

The Quebec City Kebs are also pleased to announce that all the home games played between January and March of 2010 will be played at Laval University’s Peps arena. Reserved seating is limited to the first row and given on a first come first serve basis. Fans wanting to be close to the action need to reserve their seats early!
