All of the Frasers √Člite Drill squad have both French and Scottish roots, leaving most feeling caught in the cross-fire of a debate that is polarizing both groups of people.

The 78th Fraser Highlanders regiment is best known for bravely fighting side by side with the British infantry under General James Wolfe during the Battle of the Plains of Abraham. Despite this combative tradition, there is one battle the Quebec City Scottish heritage group of the same name is not willing to fight.
