As part of his tribute to the slush sculptures of 1970s Rue Ste. Ursule, Lepire has recreated Chez Ti Père, an erstwhile Carnaval institution.

It is minus thirty outside and Michel Lepire is working with his gloves off. As the Carnaval de Québec's official snow and ice sculptor for the last 25 years, he says he's used to it.
