At the end of Sunday’s QAC performance of Harvey, Torben Johnson picked the winner of the “Rabbit Raffle – Loto Lapin” drawing.

After months of practice and four straight shows, the Quebec Art Company bid farewell to their big white friend last Sunday as their production of Harvey came to a close. Each show seemed well appreciated, and indeed, attendance grew with each successive show -the final performance on Sunday was standing-room-only, with over 100 people there to watch the story of a man and his rabbit unfold. The QAC relies on such word-of-mouth recommendations to promote its productions, but also greatly appreciates the support of the media, including the Quebec Chronicle Telegraph, le Soleil and the CBC. As a new way to keep people informed of QAC productions, an electronic database is being developed. To kick off this effort, the recent production included a drawing for those interested in providing their e-mail address. The winner was Peter Clibbon, a cast member of some of the first QAC productions! For those who may have missed the show or the drawing, you can still add your e-mail address (or, if you prefer, your postal address) to the database by sending this information directly to the QAC ([email protected]). You can also stay abreast of current affairs (as well as revisiting old affairs) by visiting the QAC website ( Finally, the cast and crew extend their thanks to all who attended and supported the show. The production was fueled on Pooka Power, but without an appreciative audience the company would have had no place to go. Thanks to all!
