Connie Dubé (left) and Shirley Jobson (right), social workers at the Jeffery Hale Community Centre, spoke about understanding change and its effects on people, and Philip Almaguer shared his experience as a newcomer to Quebec City.

Newcomers to Quebec City enjoyed an informal evening at the Jeffery Hale Pavilion on November 23, learning about adjusting to the city and its culture. The 20 or so attendees picked up valuable information at the free workshop called The Winds of Change: Finding Your Niche for Newcomers. The event was organized by Voice of English-speaking Quebec and Jeffery Hale Community Services.
