Princess Pamina (Simone Osborne) is confronted by her mother, the Queen of the Night (Audrey Luna), who tries to marry her off to the high priest Sarastro.

The major production of this year’s Festival d’Opéra de Québec was La Flûte Enchantée or The Magic Flute, one of Mozart’s final compositions, which premiered in Vienna in 1791, just two months before his premature death at age 35.
