The Grand Prix Cyclistes de Québec race course led international cyclists through Lower Town before they climbed up Côte-de-la-Montagne into Upper Town.

On September 11 and 13, the people of Quebec and Montreal watched renowned international cyclists race through their streets. The events of the sixth Grands Prix Cyclistes were held in both Quebec City and Montreal, the only Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) World Tour races on North American soil.
