Icons of the Quebec City skyline “under wraps”

Two of the tallest and most noticeable buildings in Old Quebec - the Château Frontenac and Chalmers-Wesley United Church - are currently "under wraps" as they undergo restoration work. The Château is completing the replacement of their copper roof this summer. Work began last year on the "river side" of the building, now they are doing the "city side" which will be much more noticeable to the people of Quebec City. Chalmers-Wesley is completing the final phase of a 15-year overall restoration project on their building.
