Grand Chief Konrad Siouï easily re-elected

Grand Chief Konrad Siouï is re-elected for a second four-year term.

On October 26, Grand Chief Konrad Siouï was voted in for a second consecutive four-year term as the leader of the Huron-Wendat nation in Wendake by a massive majority. His 1,241 votes, well over Luc Lainé at 262, Kino Gros-Louis at 54 and Michel A. Gros-Louis at 37, give the Grand Chief a strong sense of unified support for his new mandate.
