The bike box is an example of a cycling infrastructure that can improve cyclist-driver relations. It is used to allow cyclists to move in front of cars at traffic lights to insure better visibility.

Perhaps some readers feel, as I do, that there is a steady increase in the number of cyclists riding in the streets of Quebec City. Being a passionate cyclist myself, it has certainly not gone unnoticed. Perhaps this is due in part to the new bike paths that have been built, most notably the Champlain bike path and the St. Charles River bike path.
