"Lessons from the Northwest Passage"

Description: Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. – “Lessons from the Northwest Passage” - How Roald Amundsen won the Race to the South Pole. Are you curious to know how the CCGS (Canadian Coast Guard Ship) Amundsen got its name? Discover the exploits of a great explorer as told in English by the most important expert on Roald Amundsen in the world, Geir O. Kløver, in Room 1168 of the Pavillon d’optique-photonique, 2375 Rue de la Terrasse, on the campus of Université Laval (across from the PEPS). The event is free of charge, as is parking at PEPS and Pavillon Desjardins between 11h30 and 14h00, so one only has to pay for the first 30 minutes or so. There is also a pay parking lot just east of the building, between PEPS and Pavillon De Koninck.
